EA Sports FC 27 Title Update 1.1.0 is live: new Career Mode settings and shorter pack openings in Ultimate Team

EA released Title Update 1.1.0 for FC 27 on October 27. Gameplay balance is untouched; most of the changes are in Career Mode, Ultimate Team and The Grounds.

On October 27, EA released version 1.1.0 of EA Sports FC 27. According to EA's notes, this update has no gameplay balance or tuning changes; the work is in menus, modes and bug fixes. It applies on every platform once downloaded.

Career Mode

This is where most of the new features are:

  • Player Career Rivalries get two new objective types: Consistency (avoid being the first to fail an objective) and Match Limit (complete objectives within a set time limit).
  • Press Conferences can now be switched off in Manager Career. You can also set how often Press Conferences and Unexpected Events come up.
  • These settings, along with the existing Unexpected Events option, can now be changed in an ongoing save, not only when you create one.
  • The Team Management screen has a cleaner layout.

Fixes cover transfer problems such as contract renewals, release clause offers, loan-to-buy counter offers that let AI clubs accept a very low fee, and being unable to sell a player while the club budget was negative. Player form dropping after a high match rating is also fixed.

Ultimate Team

  • The pack opening sequence is shorter.
  • Filters in Streamlined SBCs are now remembered when you complete several in the same session.
  • Fixes for rank and reward displays in The Gallery, wrongly highlighted stats in Evolution previews, and cases where you saw your opponent's ball, net colour and pitch line colour instead of your own.
  • The Transfer Market search button no longer stops working in certain situations.

The Grounds

EA fixed matches partially resetting after a failed Hot Join, teams having two goalkeepers in Clubs 11v11 Live Events, and players getting stuck in a queue after losing connection. Scoring free kicks without aiming in Street Football is also gone.

General

  • A Claim All button has been added to the objective screens.
  • Player avatars under the age of 21 can be created again.
  • On PC, resolution, refresh rate and frame-rate-limit issues in windowed and borderless modes are fixed.
