How to buy WoW gold: realm, faction and safe delivery

World of Warcraft gold is sold per realm and faction. What to know to pick the right product, type the amount and take delivery safely.
Why is gold sold per realm?
In WoW, gold belongs to a realm and a faction (Horde or Alliance). Gold sent to a Horde character on Twisting Nether does not reach the Alliance side of the same realm. That is why every realm and faction is its own product at Pinoras, priced from that realm's own market.
Step by step
- On In-game → World of Warcraft, choose your region (EU or US) and search for your realm.
- On the product page, choose Horde or Alliance. The faction switch takes you to the other side of the same realm.
- Type the amount in units of 1,000 gold: 500 means 500K gold. The total updates as you type.
- Enter your character name exactly as it appears in game. Leave "Remember my details" ticked and we will not ask again next time.
- Pay from your wallet. You can follow the order on the orders page of your account.
How is it delivered?
The gold is sent to your character by in-game mail, a face-to-face trade or the auction house, depending on the seller. It usually takes a few hours; we let you know when it is done.
Things to watch
- Never send anything back after delivery. "We sent too much by mistake, can you return it?" is a well-known scam.
- Check your character name and realm before ordering; gold sent to the wrong character cannot be recovered.
- Buying in-game currency is against some games' terms; the account risk is the buyer's.
