How to redeem a Battle.net balance code: regions and WoW
Battle.net balance pays for WoW game time, Blizzard games and in-game items. Picking the right region's card and redeeming it takes a few minutes.
What Battle.net balance is for
Battle.net balance is Blizzard's wallet. It pays for World of Warcraft game time, Blizzard games (Diablo, Overwatch, StarCraft…) and in-game items from the shop, without entering card details.
Find your region first
Battle.net balance belongs to your account's region and does not move between regions. Before buying a card:
- Sign in at account.battle.net.
- Check your country and region under Account Details.
- Pick the card for the same region: a European card for a European account, a US card for an Americas account, and so on.
A code from the wrong region will not redeem. If unsure, check your account page first, then choose from our Battle.net gift cards.
Redeeming the code
- Open the account menu at the top right of the Battle.net app.
- Choose Redeem Code.
- Enter the code and confirm. The balance appears in your wallet right away.
You can do the same in a browser, from the redeem section of your account page.

Common questions
The code does not work? Check the region first. If it matches and the code still fails, contact support with a screenshot of the error.
