Valorant patch 13.09: new Agent Hush arrives, changes to Clove and the Warden

Valorant patch 13.09 adds Hush, a new Agent who uses telekinesis. Clove's Pick-me-up speed bonus is lower and the Warden's first shots have smoother recoil.
Riot Games published the Valorant 13.09 patch notes on Tuesday, October 27 at 13:00 UTC. The headline is a new Agent, Hush. The patch also brings balance changes for Clove and the Warden, small competitive tweaks and a long list of bug fixes. There are no map pool changes in this patch.
New Agent: Hush
Hush uses telekinesis. According to Riot's notes, she has five abilities:
- Telekinesis (passive): extended pickup and interact range.
- Displacement: pulls players towards its center and concusses them. It resets every two kills.
- Flashbulb: flashes players who look at it.
- Flow: creates an anchor and propels Hush towards it.
- Suspension: levitates players when detonated.
Riot also notes that Performance Scores on Hush may fluctuate in the first days while the utility-use benchmarks are tuned.
Agent and weapon changes
- Clove: Pick-me-up's bonus movement speed drops from 15% to 10%. Killing Clove after Not Dead Yet now gives the killer an ultimate point and a signature refresh point.
- Jett: her passive has been removed from the Buy Menu.
- Warden: pitch recoil is smoother for the first few bullets. Second-bullet error drops from 0.25 to 0.2, and third-bullet error from 0.6 to 0.5.
- New terms: Haste (movement speed) and Snapshot (the silhouette reveal debuff) are now official terms, and the buff displays for Brimstone, Clove, Miks, Neon and Waylay have been updated to match.
Competitive
- Your Act Best Match has a larger impact on Map Rating each Act. We explained Map Rating in our 13.08 article.
- The First Blood Accolade threshold is higher; historic counts are not affected.
- On PC, trades get hover text and a new "learn more" screen.
UI and bug fixes
Ability descriptions have been rewritten, and passive descriptions now appear in Agent Select, the Agent Hub and tooltips. Veto's and Vyse's in-game prompt changes from "PICK UP" to "RECALL". Fixes cover Clove, Cypher, Deadlock, Gekko, Omen, Raze, Sova, Tejo and Yoru. On console, Miks' M-Pulse and Bassquake now give controller vibration feedback.
For Valorant Points
New Agents can be unlocked by playing or with Valorant Points (VP), and store and battle pass content is bought with VP. Codes for your account's region are on our Valorant page, and our VP guide explains how to redeem them.
