1Open the Steam application and sign in to the account the game should live in.
2Bottom left of the window, click "Add a Game", then "Activate a Product on Steam".
3Accept the subscriber agreement and paste the key exactly as it was given, dashes included.
4Steam names the product before it finishes; read that line and make sure it is what you bought.
5The game appears in your library. Nothing else is needed — the key is used up.
