Steam's Halloween event, Scream V Fest, starts tomorrow: October 26 – November 2

Steam's yearly Halloween event returns as Steam Scream V Fest. According to the event schedule Valve publishes for developers, the fest starts on Monday, October 26 and ends on Monday, November 2.

What time does it start?

Valve's schedule lists dates only. Steam sales and fests usually start at 10:00 Pacific time, which is 17:00 UTC on October 26. Steam Next Fest (October 19–26) ends the same day, so the two are expected to run back to back.

Which games take part?

Valve says the fest is for games in the horror category and explicitly Halloween-themed games. A few things worth knowing:

• Discounts are set by each game's publisher, not by Valve, and a game does not have to be on sale to appear in the fest.
• Unreleased games and demos can appear on the event page too.
• The event is promoted on the Steam homepage, and Valve picks which games to feature based on player interest.

The next Steam events
