PS Plus October 2026 games are live: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, EDF: World Brothers 2
PlayStation Plus members can add October's three games to their library from today: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. The window closes on Monday, November 2.
The October PlayStation Plus games that Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog on September 30 went live today, Tuesday, October 6. All three can be added to your library until Monday, November 2; once added, they stay playable for as long as your membership is active.
The October 2026 monthly games
- F1 25 (PS5): the official game of the 2025 Formula 1 season. It has a Career mode, My Team 2.0 where you run a team as its owner, and the new F1 World mode where you form a squad with friends and race against AI drivers.
- Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5): an unforgiving extraction shooter set in the bayou. Solo or in a team of up to three, you track down the target monster, take the bounty and get out while rival hunters close in.
- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5 and PS4): the lighter, voxel-styled spin-off of the series. Giant insects and aliens, four-player online co-op and two-player split screen.
Sony notes that the monthly line-up may differ by region; check the PlayStation Plus tab in the PS Store for your account's list.
If you missed September's games
The last day for September's games (Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes) was October 5. If you did not add them yesterday, they are no longer listed.
Extras for members this month
- Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars: exclusive to PlayStation Plus members through Sony Pictures Core from October 6, for a limited time.
- HorrorFest packs: horror-themed in-game bundles throughout October for games such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Overwatch 2.
The Game Catalog additions for the Extra and Deluxe tiers have not been announced yet; Sony usually reveals them around the middle of the month. We will cover them when they are.
What players are saying
The mood in the comments under the Turkish site DonanımHaber's report is cool: the most-liked comment does not think much of the selection, and another jokes that Sony "could have given us F1 99". F1 25 is the one title drawing interest, with a few readers saying they will try it if it is as fun to play as it is to watch. Hunt: Showdown 1896 and EDF barely come up in Turkish forums.
How to add the games
- Open the PS Store on PS5 or PS4 and go to the PlayStation Plus tab, or open the game's page in the web store.
- Use "Add to Library" on the game's page. You do not have to download it; adding is enough.
- Added games stay on your account even if your membership lapses; they become playable again when you renew.
