What to do when a code will not work

Most rejected codes have a simple, fixable cause. What to check, in order, and the point at which you should write to us.
When a code is rejected the first thought is "I have been sold a fake". Our experience says otherwise: in the large majority of cases the code is fine and the problem is elsewhere. In order:
1. Did you copy and paste it
Zero read as O and one read as I are extremely common when typing. Use the copy button on your order page, and watch for a trailing space.
2. Are you on the right screen
A game key and a wallet code go to different places. On Steam a game key is "Activate a Product on Steam" while a wallet code is on "Add Funds to your Steam Wallet". On PlayStation both live under "Redeem Codes" but the product type differs.
3. Does your account's region match
This is the most common cause by a distance. A Türkiye code works on a Türkiye account. We covered checking that in a separate article.
4. Could the code already have been used
If you sent it to someone, or shared it in a screenshot, it belongs to whoever redeemed it. That cannot be reversed.
5. Does the platform say "invalid" or "already used"
Two different errors:
- Already used — the code has been activated on an account.
- Invalid / not recognised — the code does not belong to that platform or that region.
Which one you see matters to us, because the fix is different.
When to write to us
If you have tried the above and the code is still refused, open a support ticket from your account. Include:
- The order number, so we can find the code and the product on our side.
- The exact error the platform gave you — a screenshot is ideal.
- Your account's region.
Tickets are resolved within 24 hours. If the code really is invalid or already used, it is replaced; if we have no stock, the amount is refunded to your wallet.
What not to do
Do not sell or share a code you are reporting until it is resolved. We have to verify that it has not been redeemed, and we cannot do that if somebody else gets to it first.
